Hi! Today i wanted to tell you about how much the pandemic has affected our mental health as students. According to a study by the Universidad de Chile, three out of four students say that they feel "worse or much worse compared to the pre-pandemic context." And why is that? The online system sometimes seems more comfortable, but it was something totally new for us, and there are also new problems to the student life that come with this change, such as connection issues, not having a quiet place to study or going to class, not being able to talk face to face to a professor when we may need it, and the list goes on. In addition to all these problems of being a student in a pandemic, there are more external problems, many parents lost their jobs, or families have different financial problems, and this obviously makes students have their focus in their families and not university, which is logical. This new way of living was really hard for everyone, but we have to car...

Hi!!, I'm going to write about a topic that relates to chemistry and pharmacy but not so directly, based on a personal experience I had a while ago. I went to the dermatologist for a slight acne problem, with the idea that he would give me a cleaning routine, but he gave me an acne medication. The medication caused me many adverse effects, I had to use it for 3 months initially, it spent about a month, and I realized that the medication was not for me because after researching, I knew it was for acne much more severe than the one I had, so I had almost all the adverse effects that came out on the label and some are permanent damage. What I want to get to by telling this, is that there is still a lot of disinformation regarding the drugs that are prescribed by doctors, and I think this could be regulated in some way if there were more medical and pharmaceutical contact at the time of prescribing drugs so that no more cases like this happen. Thanks for reading, bye!

Hello! The best holiday I’ve ever had was when I went to Florianopolis, Brazil in June of 2019. I went with my mom, during the winter vacation, we went for a week, and we stayed in a hotel in front of the beach, in that beach they sold some exotic fruit juices that were delicious, we bought one every day, the food in the restaurants was also great and we never had complications with communicating since our languages are kind of similar. We took some tours, and went to different beaches, we visited the fortresses and the center of Florianopolis that was far away from our hotel. On our last day, before returning to Santiago, we went on a tour to Camboriú, where we rode on a ropeway that had an amazing view. And this was the best vacation I’ve had so far, also it was my first time traveling abroad (I hope it’s not the last) and my first time in an airplane so it was super exciting doing this kind of stuff for the first time. Well that’s all, thanks for reading, bye!

Hi, I would like to visit Italy. There are too many reasons why; first, from what I've seen in pictures, it has beautiful cities being Venice one of my favorites. Also, Italy is well known for its cuisine, and I would love to try real Italian food. Italy is also known for its historic architecture and art, I would enjoy visiting the museums and look at all the famous artworks there, because art is one of my hobbies. And of course, I'd like to visit the worldwide known monuments; the Coliseum and the Tower of Pisa as well. I would like to go on vacation there because is probably the best way to get to know other cultures and be a part of them in a short term, and then eventually see if I would like to move there in the future, even though I would have to learn the language and customs of the country first. That’s all, thanks for reading, bye!
